Reimbursement is only needed when you use non provider clinics for medical services. Only Medi Classic or Premium packages have this option, with personal doctor's consent. For reimbursment use an app MyGPI or a wesbite mygpi.ge. Find a field "Medical Reimbursement", choose a policy and follow instructions. For reimbursement you will need form 100, checks and cashier's order. You will receive an answer in 20 minutes and compensation will be paid in 1 working day.
For planned surgieries you'll need to request a guarantee letter from us. This is a document that proves we are financing your surgery and it is given to the clinic where you are planning on having it. Request it online via app MyGPI or the website mygpi.ge. You will need form 100 and surgery calculation for this. You will get an answer in maximum 3 working days. Guarantee letter has 1 month expiration date. In provider clinics we will send the letter and you'll only pay your share.
From the moment you buy insurance, you enter our loyalty program Ecoists. 5% of the monthly fee is returned to you as ecocoins. 100 Ecocoins = 1 Gel. You can use them to renew or buy a new insurance. Choose "pay with ecocoins", it will be exchanged into money and will be excluded from the total fee. You can also collect ecocins with a healthy lifestyle.

If you have already been registered and cant login into your personal cabinet, first of all change your password. Enter your email and wait for a temporary password on your email or phone. With Medi you can use all in insurance services online, remotely: planning a visit to the doctor, reimbursement, requesting refferal or guarantee letter.
For any outpatient services (specilist visit, tests, medication) you will need personal doctor's referral. This is what you do:
Policy Medi only covers services in provider clinics. With Medi Classic and Premium you can use non provider clinics too, after getting a consent and referral from your personal doctor.
Policy Medi only finances this service in provider clinics.
Medi only financed doctor prescribed medication. You'll need personal doctor's referral. Referral will show up on your insurance card. In provider pharmacies show your card and pay only your share.
Policy Medi covers planned surgeries in only provider clinics. Urgent surgeries are financed in non provider clinics too.

Privileged provider clinics are the flagship clinics, where you can use services without personal doctor's referral. You will only need your insurance card and you will only pay your share. With policy Medi Classic and Premium you can get service in this PP Clinics.

Urgent outpatient services mean treatment, that was necessary because of an accident or if person's health suddenlt got worse, but long stay in the hotpisal isn't needed. For example: burn, fracture, small trauma, intoxication and etc. Planned outpatient service is the one where urgent medical attention is not needed. Both services are covered diffrently with Policy Medi and services are received with diffrenet schemes.
If person's health needs urgent hotpital care to stay alive and healthy, this is urgent surgery. Planned surgeries don't need urgent care. Both services are financed differently with Medi. Service scheme is also different.
Planned dental care: consultation, diagnostics, tooth filling, cleaning. If there is acute tooth pain and urgent extraction is needed, this is urgent dental care. Both services are financed by Medi Standard, Classic and Premium
Pregnancy - Childborth is financed with Policy Medi premium package after 24 month waiting period.
Chosen doctor and improved room are not financed by policy Medi.
This issue is depended on medication group and the reason it was prescribed. Check information with your personal doctor.
You can see this information on website on website mygpi.ge or in an app MyGPI. In the menu choose Policies, see their numbers and expiration dates. Policy number can be seen on the APP Car, digital insurance card.
Digital insurance card APP Card can be found in the app. On the home page find a field "Health", choose "See the card" and see all your digital insurance cards. You can use them everwhere you need an insurance card.
To see the details for your insurance policy or policy you insured someone with, check an app MyGPI or website mygpi.ge. Find "See the policies", click on the policy you want and see details, service scheme, coverages, used and left limits by service, payment history and schedule.
You can buy a better one while renewing the policy. In such cases you won't have a waiting period on planned surgeries, if the new package finances if from the day one.

With Policy Medi urgent surgeries are financed from day one. Planned surgeris have 12 month waiting period.
Policy Medi has 1 year waiting period for planned surgeries. If this time has already passed, planned surgery will be financed in both provider and non provider clinics. For this you will need a guarantee letter from us.
Urgent surgeries are financed from the moment insurance is active. Clinics will organize insurance procedures themselves.
You will need calculation from the clinic and form 100. You can uload this documents in your personal cabinet and get an answer in 3 working days.
You can ask for guarantee letter remotely from the app MyGPI or from the website mygpi.ge. For datailed information see the instructions.
For clildbirth you don't need a guarantee letter. Clinic will organize insurance procedures with us.
For C section you can ask for a guarantee letter beforehand. Or clinic can ask for it while you are there.
